Founded in 1972, Good Foods Co-op is central Kentucky’s only locally owned and operated cooperative grocery — something our 10,000 + owners are extremely proud of! We focus on local, natural, organic, non-GMO products and wholesome foods while supporting over 250 Kentucky farmers and local businesses. We offer fresh, local and organic produce, natural meats, fresh, sustainably fished seafood, grab-and-go entrees, fresh sushi made with organic rice, gourmet cheese and olives, made-from-scratch baked goods, bulk foods and herbs and spices, body care and wellness products, gluten-free foods and vegetarian/vegan products.
Our cafe offers a hot buffet, salad bar, deli salad and sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, organic fair-trade coffee, real fruit smoothies, espresso bar and pastries and desserts!
We bring farmers face to face with the folks serving a child their first solid food, preparing a meal for a first date, participating in the mundane but essential act of coming together for nourishment.
Located at 455 Southland Drive, Good Foods is open daily, 8 am to 8 pm. The hot buffet is served Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm and on the weekends 9:30 am to 2:30 pm for brunch. Everyone is always welcome to shop and eat here; just be sure and try our Good Foods kale from our hot bar ... it's world famous!
